and yet, Mueller testified under oath he was not there to interview for/fill the job (of FBI Director after Comey). That is in direct contradiction to what Trump said.

Mueller was acting. Mueller was not confused when he walked in, shook hands, acknowledging different people he knew. He used a stalling tactic when he answered questions. Pretend like you didn't hear the question and then ask to have the question repeated. Maybe Mueller wasn't familiar with everything in the report, but most people would at least review before answering questions from Congress.
